CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Last night, the North Star Task Force arrested 28 people in a six-month operation against child sex trafficking—nineteen on misdemeanor prostitution charges and nine on felony charges such as luring minors and sexual exploitation—showing that many of those arrested were local residents and that child exploitation remains a serious concern. EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ NAU Athletics named former Lumberjack Laura Dinkins as the new head coach of the women’s basketball team, noting her 15 years of Division I experience and previous coaching at NAU. - ➤ The City of Flagstaff is celebrating Water Awareness Month in April with events offering free water efficiency consultations, supplies, and a raffle for a high efficiency toilet to help residents conserve water.
