ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Grand Canyon rim-to-rim hike closed early after the Dragon Bravo Fire damaged the North Rim lodge and North Kaibab Trail. Park officials will reassess the trail in March or April, and hikers fear the 24-mile route may remain closed for years. AZ Family

- ➤ Coconino County is set to receive a $68.7 million broadband upgrade as federal approval of Arizona’s BEAD plan could bring fast internet access to over 10,000 households. The investment is expected to enhance connectivity locally. Arizona Daily Sun
