- ➤ Downtown Flagstaff will host its Annual Christmas Tree Lighting and Winter Wonderland event tomorrow, Saturday, Dec. 6, at Heritage Square from 2:30 to 7 p.m. The event features live music at 2:30 and 4 p.m., a tree lighting at 6:15 when Santa will arrive on a fire truck, and many free holiday activities. - ➤ Flagstaff's Papa Murphy's has closed due to corporate pricing challenges & high operating expenses. The restaurant said it could not earn enough income to cover its operating costs. Arizona Daily Sun

- ➤ The Northern Arizona Lumberjacks lost 75-62 to South Dakota State at Rolle Activity Center Wednesday night, snapping their 11-game home winning streak — NAU now sits at 4-3 and will head to Fargo for its next Big Sky-Summit Challenge game. KAFF
