- ➤ Flagstaff launched the Wildfire Resilient Homes Initiative on November 14 — a program created by the Flagstaff Fire Department and Flagstaff Sustainability Office to help residents lower wildfire risks. The initiative provides free home assessments, resilience kits, and grants of up to $600 with priority for those facing financial or physical challenges. City of Flagstaff
- ➤ Flagstaff region fire agencies are adopting a new academy structure to address a recruitment pinch—aimed at speeding up training for new firefighters—and fill necessary shifts quickly. Officials will begin using the system in the coming months to meet staffing needs. Arizona Daily Sun
