- ➤ The city will begin restoration work at Cheshire Pond to improve water conditions and local wildlife habitats—officials say the project will upgrade the ecosystem. Arizona Daily Sun
- ➤ The Kaibab National Forest will start prescribed burn operations north of Williams on Wednesday, Nov 12 pending proper approvals — ignitions are set to finish in one or two days across four small units covering 504 acres. Smoke will be visible from Williams, Spring Valley and along State Route 64 — residents are advised to stay alert to fire equipment in the area. KAFF
