  • A birthing center in memory of a Flagstaff native began providing services in September—serving 96 local mothers with one birth recorded so far.  Arizona Daily Sun

SPORTS NEWS

  • The Coconino Panthers won their ninth consecutive city championship with a 47—21 victory over the Flagstaff Eagles at the J. Lawrence Walkup Skydome on Thursday night. The Panthers finished the regular season 6—4 as they now await their first-round playoff opponent while Flagstaff ended its season 2—8.  KAFF
