ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Kaibab National Forest is planning two prescribed burns near Tusayan and Williams next week. The 7,030-acre Blue Stem Project will begin tomorrow and produce noticeable smoke in Tusayan and along State Route 64 — while the 4,302-acre Pine Flat Project will start later this week with smoke expected in Williams, Flagstaff and Prescott.
