Rep. Eli Crane introduced the North Rim Restoration Act of 2025 to let the National Park Service use emergency contracting to speed up rebuilding at the Grand Canyon’s North Rim after the Dragon Bravo Fire damaged buildings and a water pipeline.

The bill also will require a report every 180 days to monitor fire-related recovery work.
