- ➤ The City of Flagstaff will close 6th Avenue between 1st Street and Main Street starting Monday, Oct. 13 for storm drain installation + the closure is part of the Spruce Wash Flood Mitigation project and is expected to last one month weather permitting. Detour routes along East Street, 4th Avenue, 3rd Street and Dortha Avenue will keep access for businesses, schools and WF Killip Elementary School while sidewalk access remains maintained. KAFF
