- ➤ The Bureau of Reclamation will present its study on a resilient and redundant regional water solution to Flagstaff City Council in October—aimed at helping Flagstaff and other northern AZ communities secure long-term water options. Arizona Daily Sun
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ The No. 13 NAU Lumberjacks lost 34-10 to the No. 5 Montana State Bobcats on Oct. 4 at Findlay Toyota Field—Montana State scored 34 unanswered points, including a 90-yard punt return touchdown that changed the game. NAU now stands at 4-2 and will face U.C. Davis next week. KAFF
- ➤ On Oct. 4, the Bradshaw Mountain Bears beat the Flagstaff Eagles 49 to 6 in Prescott Valley—strong plays by Kylin Jackson and Michael Sanford led the win. The loss dropped the Eagles to a 1 to 5 record while Flagstaff will host Mohave next week at 7 p.m. KAFF
