- ➤ On August 29, the Snowflake Lobos beat the Coconino Panthers 28-23 at Cromer Stadium after both teams traded scores and officials let a late touchdown stand + the Panthers will host St. Mary’s on Sept. 4 at 7 p.m. KAFF
- ➤ NAU cross country teams took first place in both men's and women's races at the George Kyte Classic held Aug. 30 at Buffalo Park. Alumnus Ryan Raff led the men's race with a time of 22:12.8 and six Lumberjacks finished in the women's top 10—both teams earned a score of 15 and will next compete at the Gans Creek Classic on Sept. 26 in Columbia, Missouri.
