- ➤ Flagstaff is asking residents for input on proposed updates to its Engineering Design Standards—these changes would allow fiber providers to use micro-trenching to lay cables along street curbs; the City Council will review the updates on Oct. 7 to help expand high-speed internet. KAFF
- ➤ After consulting with the U.S. Forest Service, Coconino County is moving all private property within and near Coconino National Forest to Stage 1 fire restrictions today at 8 a.m.—this change comes as forest conditions have improved, while other county areas remain under Stage 2 or no restrictions.
