On August 22, Flagstaff Police responded at 10:39 a.m. to a fight at Bushmaster Park on Alta Vista where a caller said he separated an adult Native American male in a light grey shirt assaulting a female + the suspect left on foot with a group of males.

CCSO officers responded to a fight on Chuska Ovi in Kachina Village when one man threatened others with a knife—officers used pepper spray to detain him and secure the scene, resulting in at least one arrest.

A U.S. Forest Service Burned Area Emergency Response team has started surveys on Kaibab National Forest—checking for post-fire flooding and debris flow risks—to gauge land conditions.

Officials from several agencies will use the report to decide if emergency stabilization steps must be taken.
