- ➤ The U.S. Small Business Administration is offering disaster loans to businesses and private non-profits that lost revenue from summer wildfires in northern Arizona. Eligible applicants in several counties and tribal nations can receive up to $2 million at a fixed rate with no interest accruing and deferred payments for 12 months—applications are due by May 18, 2026. - ➤ A German-based satellite company has begun using new AI and thermal imaging satellites to help firefighters detect and model wildfires from space. The company plans to launch more satellites later this year to improve orbit timing and assist in monitoring fire growth. AZ Family
