  • Schools across Coconino County are preparing for students' return while planning potential adjustments to federal funding—officials will update plans as federal guidelines become clear.  Arizona Daily Sun

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Flagstaff residents can now review the Regional Land Use Plan 2045 draft that will guide local growth, zoning, housing, transportation and natural resource protection over the next 20 years. Public hearings are scheduled this fall including sessions on August 27, September 10 and 24 and a City Council review on October 9—county approval and a vote are planned for May 2026.  KAFF

  • Indivisible Northern AZ has organized a People’s Town Hall event on July 29th to give residents a chance to discuss concerns over Rep. Eli Crane's lack of in-person meetings—speakers include former Navajo Nation President Jonathan Nez and Rep.
