ACCIDENTS NEWS

ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Bearizona Wildlife Park in Williams rescued two orphaned black bear cubs—one is Hogan (named for a wrestling icon) and the other is Ozzy (named for a rock singer)—and placed them in quarantine to ensure they are healthy before moving them to drive-through habitats that mimic the wild. KAFF
- ➤ Wildfire and flood risks threaten the Upper Rio de Flag watershed near Flagstaff with potential economic costs near $3 billion, so local agencies teamed up to restore the forest. - ➤ The FDA has issued an urgent recall on frozen raw half-shell oysters and pear slices due to potential health risks—oysters from Korea were linked to a norovirus outbreak reported on July 16 and pear slices from New York may contain elevated levels of lead and cadmium.
