HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Yesterday, CCHHS reported that a prairie dog die-off in the Townsend Winona area northeast of Flagstaff may be linked to plague—fleas on private land are being tested and burrows treated to reduce risks to humans and pets. The agency is working with the property owner and will contact nearby landholders—burrows will be monitored—to help manage the potential spread of the disease. KAFF
