Good morning, Flagstaff.

Residents may face delays and need caution as Flagstaff's Road Repair and Street Safety project will begin asphalt removal and paving in various neighborhoods from late June through July (work starts on Hopi Drive and expands to Cherry Hill and University Heights).

APS said a Public Safety Power Shutoff could begin as early as 10 a.m. today in Flagstaff near the city limits and south of Little America, with power expected to return by 4 p.m. tomorrow; free ice and water are set up for affected residents.

On June 26, Coconino County Emergency Management activated its Emergency Operations Center due to fire weather, Pocket Fire, and the APS Public Safety Power Shutoff—free water, ice stations, and shelter services are available at Flagstaff sites through June 28.

The Red Cross will host blood drives around Flagstaff; the first is at Murdoch Community Center (203 E.

Brannen Ave) on June 29 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., with subsequent drives at a Bellemont fire station on June 30 and at a DoubleTree by Hilton on July 1.
