ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Janelle Banda, 32, went missing from the Edge of the World dispersed campsite Friday night and was found safe on Monday when Coconino County Search and Rescue located her in a nearby side canyon after she became dehydrated and sustained minor injuries. Pima County Sheriff's Office used a helicopter hoist to take her to Sedona Airport before Sedona Fire Department transferred her to Verde Valley Medical Center for treatment. KAFF

- ➤ Flagstaff police are searching for a suspect in connection with a stabbing that occurred over the weekend—investigators urge anyone with information to come forward. Arizona Daily Sun

- ➤ Stage 2 fire restrictions will take effect today for the city, forest and county—forest managers cited hot, dry and windy weather as the driving factor for the change. Arizona Daily Sun
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Yesterday, Northern Arizona Healthcare began Phase 1 of its interior remodel and expansion of the Summit Center at 1485 North Turquoise Drive, a project set to last 18 months until the fall while keeping all services open. The remodel will add new operating rooms, a wound clinic with hyperbaric treatment, a dedicated rehab area, and extra parking, and two more phases are planned for later in the project. KAFF
