  • Area law enforcement has been searching for a missing 13-year-old nonverbal autistic boy who ran away from his home on the 1400 block of University Heights Drive North and was seen at a hotel on Woodlands Village Blvd wearing a dirty yellow Sinagua T-shirt — agencies including CCSO, NAU Police and FPD are working together to locate him.  Flagscanner

  • Flagstaff City Council backed a new plan for the Observatory Mesa trail system that calls for combining trail construction — adoption and decommissioning to create a more accessible and sustainable network.  Arizona Daily Sun

SPORTS NEWS

  • The Coconino Panthers Softball Team won their first 4A State Title with a 2-1 extra-inning victory over Salpointe Catholic last night as Kaitlyn Yazzie hit a walk-off line drive to secure the win. The Panthers improved to a 30-4 record with a 22-game winning streak that will carry into next season — marking the first high school state title in Flagstaff history.  KAFF
