US Highway 89 will have lane closures on May 19 and May 20 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. between N Cummings St and the city limit near N Snowflake Dr. and E Trails End Dr.—the work will seal cracks in the road as part of the Road Repair and Street Safety Program while projects continue in other Flagstaff neighborhoods.

The Coconino National Forest proposed fee increases at some recreation sites to help maintain popular areas — the fee hike may also fund additional seasonal recreation staff.
