- ➤ Overland Expo West will return to Fort Tuthill County Park from May 16 to May 18 in Coconino County + the event will offer over 400 exhibitors and 300 hours of educational programming through classes, demonstrations and roundtables. Arizona Daily Sun
ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Multiple fire agencies are battling a new blaze on the east side of Mt Elden from the Christmas Tree neighborhood — from the Elden Pueblo Trail in Flagstaff. Crews report the Sandy Fire has burned about 1.5 to 2 acres and that firefighting efforts have begun with no immediate threat. Flagscanner

- ➤ A 23-mile project on I-17 between Anthem Way and Sunset Point started in 2022 and is nearly complete. Drivers will soon see a new third lane in both directions and flex lanes opening by the end of the year (designed to ease congestion and protect safety). AZ Family
