- ➤ On May 5, Flagstaff police found a deceased individual on a Forest Service road off Old Walnut Canyon Road and said no suspicious circumstances were present. Arizona Daily Sun
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ The City of Flagstaff and Coconino County announced that the second edition of the Multicultural County Park Sculpture Exhibition will open on May 19 at Elizabeth -Liz- C. Archuleta County Park with an 11 a.m. reception featuring Mayor Becky Daggett and other officials. The exhibition will display large-scale sculptures by artists and will be on view until March 15. - ➤ Flagstaff officials said the Bureau of Reclamation began developing the scope of work for an appraisal study— a key step before a planned feasibility study— for the city's water pipeline proposals. Arizona Daily Sun

- ➤ Researchers at NAU in Flagstaff are using state-of-the-art equipment—paired with a spider—to help lower anxiety by first scanning participants' brains and then guiding them through six neurofeedback sessions.
