- ➤ A 1980 law left 80% of Arizona’s land without groundwater control and Coconino County officials warned that the lack of regulation may make it difficult to plan for future community growth—especially as aquifers are already overused. AZ Family

- ➤ The Flagstaff Regional Land Use Plan citizen review session will now be held at City Hall from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on May 2nd. Arizona Daily Sun
- ➤ On April 16, Flagstaff was honored at the AZ Water Conference in Phoenix for its leadership in water infrastructure, emergency management, and sustainability. The city received awards for the Inner Basin Waterline Restoration Project — which restored drinking water after the 2022 Pipeline Fire and flooding — as well as for strong wastewater operations and long-term water conservation.
