Good morning, Flagstaff.

BASIS Flagstaff has decided to expand its weight room and add exercise science classes to enhance its curriculum.

The school replaced an old storage closet with a modern workout space — a change that will give students more hands-on learning.

Lowell Observatory and Grand Canyon Conservancy are hosting a free virtual panel titled 'Saving the Night: Protecting Dark Skies in Our National Parks' to discuss dark sky conservation — a chance for local residents to learn about protecting our natural night skies — and people can join the event online.

Coconino County is moving ahead with its jail bond sale even as the national economy faces disruptions.
