- ➤ Last week, a woman driving her Tesla along Route 66 in Flagstaff was chased and punched by a man in a green car—police later cited the suspect due in court on Monday amid growing reports of similar attacks on Tesla drivers. AZ Family
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ The City of Flagstaff Sustainability Office will host the Earth Day Celebration at Bushmaster Park on April 19, starting with a community litter clean-up from 9 to 10 a.m. The event will feature live music, free workshops, a community bike ride from the Flagstaff Visitor Center at 10 a.m., free Mountain Line transit & a bike valet, with volunteers needed for setup and breakdown throughout the day. - ➤ The Flagstaff Fire Department and City Sustainability Division are launching a pine needle pickup program to lower wildfire risk by placing rollout dumpsters in neighborhoods so residents can safely dispose of yard debris, with University Heights and Railroad Springs scheduled from March 31 to April 7 (additional neighborhoods will be served from April 25 to May 12).
