CULTURE NEWS

  • The City of Flagstaff and APS partnered on a pilot program to turn 10 utility cabinets into public art, unveiling a newly wrapped cabinet at Sinagua Middle School on March 25th. The program, now in its fifth year, invites local artists to submit designs by April 15—using durable vinyl to brighten streets and deter vandalism—while expanding Flagstaff's artistic identity.  City of Flagstaff

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • Flagstaff has low fire danger now thanks to the recent snow — but experts say that rising temperatures and high winds could increase the risk within two to three weeks. Local crews and the Forest Service are making plans to help should fire activity grow later this season.  AZ Family
