GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Coconino County Emergency Management (CCEM) will test its Emergency Notification System on March 30 at noon to ensure proper disaster response; test messages will clearly say they are tests with no action needed and residents can sign up or update their Smart911 account. The county will reschedule if inclement weather occurs. KAFF
- ➤ Starting in early April, the City and its contractor will begin channel improvements in Fanning Wash between Steves Boulevard and Linda Vista Drive to remove trees, adjust slopes, and boost channel capacity under the five-year Stormwater Capital Improvements Program. Work may occur weekdays from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., and temporary lane, sidewalk, and trail restrictions will be signposted + drivers should plan accordingly. KAFF
