BUSINESS NEWS
- ➤ Matador Coffee and NAU Campus Dining announced a partnership to bring local brew to campus dining areas. Three locations are now branded with the Matador name — offering a new local brew option for NAU students. Arizona Daily Sun
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Flagstaff City Council will hold a public hearing Tuesday, May 6 at 3:00 p.m. in City Council Chambers (211 W. Aspen Avenue) to consider proposed changes that would raise the local transaction privilege and use tax rates from 2.281% to 2.486% effective July 1. A second reading and continuation of the hearing is scheduled Tuesday, May 20 at 3:00 p.m. to decide on the changes. City of Flagstaff
- ➤ The city said University Avenue, soon to be Fresquez Avenue, will be closed from Milton Road to Yale Street until the week of April 7 due to winter weather delays—traffic on Milton Road will not be affected and driveways for Burger King and Wendy's will remain accessible from Milton Road. KAFF
