  • Northern Arizona Animal Search and Rescue works day-by-day to locate missing pets in Flagstaff — the group treats each case with the same care applied to missing persons. Pet owners are encouraged to contact the organization when companions are lost.  Arizona Daily Sun

  • Wild & Scenic Film Festival returns to Flagstaff on Saturday, March 28 with screenings and activities benefiting the Grand Canyon Wolf Recovery Project.  Arizona Daily Sun

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • ADOT will narrow I-17 to one lane near Camp Verde and Munds Park to install digital signs. Northbound restrictions run 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Mar. 23 to 25 – southbound lanes are limited Mar. 23 to 24; the $6 million project adds cameras to improve traffic.  KAFF

HEALTH NEWS

  • Coconino County Health and Human Services confirmed a resident tested positive for measles and warned that exposures occurred at three sites—Page High School, Safeway at 650 Elm Street, and Banner Page Hospital—on Mar. 12 and Mar. 16.  KAFF

  • Naomi White, who broke scoring records as a redshirt freshman in Flagstaff (averaging 20.8 points per game), has entered the transfer portal. This decision raises questions about NAU’s roster for next season.  KAFF
