EDUCATION NEWS

GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Yesterday, the House approved the North Rim Restoration Act to speed rebuilding of the Grand Canyon North Rim after the 2025 Dragon Bravo Fire. The bill grants emergency contracting authority to the National Park Service and now heads to the Senate — requiring a 2/3 vote and a presidential signature. KAFF
- ➤ Flagstaff is updating its Community Wildfire Protection Plan and will ask for public input; dates for sessions are not yet set and revisions are expected to be completed by early 2027. Arizona Daily Sun
