Bookmans employees voted today to ratify the first union contract for the local bookseller chain, uniting staff from Flagstaff and Tucson under a collective bargaining agreement (a historic step for labor rights in our community).

Work at James Turrell’s Roden Crater continues as the project team filed with Coconino County (seeking to expand overnight lodging) while a public opening date remains unknown.

The City of Flagstaff started updating its Community Wildfire Protection Plan using grant funds and SWCA Environmental Consultants.

The new plan will link with Coconino County’s efforts to protect Flagstaff, Sedona and nearby areas when completed early 2027.
