ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Fire crews responded Friday to a small wildfire near the base of Mount Elden in the Greenlaw area, containing the blaze on about one-quarter acre with no structures threatened. Flagstaff Fire Department and USFS crews remained on scene to mop up the fire. Flagscanner
- ➤ On Friday, March 6 a 0.25-acre fire started at the base of Mount Elden and officials are investigating if it was caused by human activity. Resources remained on scene while county sheriff’s units were not needed. KAFF
