FUSD announced it will offer free meals to local children through its Summer Food Service Program until summer 2026. The program will give kids access to healthy meals during school breaks.
Grand Canyon National Park announced that starting June 22, Lipan Point and its road will close for rehabilitation until Dec. 23. Visitors can use the Tanner Trail by parking at No Name Point (about 1,000 feet west of Lipan Point Road) and walking to the trailhead.
